Amy Staino

Real Estate Agent

License Number: 672792
amy@tkerrrealestate.com

Working in real estate requires a specific set of skills, which Amy Staino has in spades. From solid relationship building and an eye for detail to savvy negotiation skills, Amy’s journey to real estate included training in all the areas that count. TEXAS ROOTS Born in Georgetown, TX, Amy is a lifelong Texan. After graduating from Georgetown High School, she dove right into the professional world as a sales and marketing assistant for government contracts at Sierra Microwave Technology. Next, Amy moved to TECO-Westinghouse Corporation and propelled up the ranks to Project Administrator. Her time at both corporations laid the foundation for her future in real estate in more ways than one. After almost a decade of relationship building, customer finessing, and managing complex contracts, Amy had the opportunity to retire from the corporate world and pursue her real estate license – a dream she never thought possible. After closing her first deal, it became clear that everything learned working in the corporate world was preparing her for a fulfilling career in real estate. SKILLS FOR LIFE While establishing her career as a solo real estate agent, Amy also worked with CHASCO Construction – a premier full-service construction company in Austin-Round Rock, TX. During this time, she experienced first-hand the mind-boggling logistics involved in ground-up construction projects, including contracts, permits, construction and utility planning, and more. The skills and relationships she developed professionally at CHASCO and throughout her corporate career further fueled Amy’s desire to commit to real estate full-time. So, she took the plunge and joined a team. She worked for a few firms in the Austin area, including a farm and ranch-focused boutique, before finally landing with the T. Kerr Property Group. WORK ETHIC FOR THE WIN Having several years of success under her belt, Amy found herself positioned to be selective with her real estate family. Everything about the T. Kerr Property Group called to Amy – dedication to customer service, orderly contractual processes, immense support, innovative and highly efficient operations, and an emphasis on work-life balance. As an agent, Amy thrives on seeing the potential for homebuyers and working tirelessly to make ownership happen seamlessly. Her vast experience in negotiation, relationship management, finessing contracts, and never missing a detail translate to one thing – turning her clients’ dreams into reality. She’s tenacious in her process and gracious to the end. Amy enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons in her downtime. When she’s not hiking or boating around Central Texas lakes with the family, she’s relaxing with her three dogs and planning the next trip. Disney anyone?

Daniel Valdez

512-787-7204
License Number: 817603
daniel@tkerrrealestate.com

Daniel grew up in the church, where he was surrounded by people who displayed what it meant to serve others well. That environment cultivated in him the value of giving to others—not through grand gestures, but instead, through consistent, everyday choices. Those early lessons still shape the way Daniel approaches life and work. He knew that within any area of your life you have the opportunity to minister to others. Real estate, for Daniel, is just another one of those avenues. It became a unique path for Daniel to not only care for the needs of others, but to simultaneously achieve his personal goals. Nearly three years ago, Daniel created his ten-year plan and broke it down into attainable milestones. One of those milestones was to purchase his first home within five years… he achieved that goal at the age of 22. Before real estate, Daniel served as a kitchen director at Chick-fil-A, where he built his leadership skills and a deep understanding of putting others first. Today, he specializes in the purchase, selling, and renting of single-family residential properties throughout Williamson, Hays, and Travis counties. His approach is built on reliability, persistence, and the belief that trust is earned through action. Whether he’s helping a family find their forever home or negotiating a deal, Daniel is focused on relationships that last long after the paperwork is done. At the heart of everything Daniel does is a desire to serve God by serving others. He’s actively involved in Summit Church over in Buda, where he helps with the worship team, setting up, and weekly Bible studies. His work in real estate is an extension of that same calling—to show up for people, meet them where they are, and be a steady presence through life’s transitions. For Daniel, success isn’t just measured in sales, but in being a good steward of what’s been entrusted to him.

Janell Meza

Real Estate Agent

janell@tkerrrealestate.com

Janell, a proud local of Georgetown, is more than a real estate agent – she’s a relationship builder dedicated to fostering authentic connections and serving others. As soon as you meet Janell, one thing will be very clear – she firmly believes that the key to building these relationships is rooted in the art of intentional listening. She has a strong commitment to understanding her clients and ensuring that their interests are served. BANKING TO REAL ESTATE Transitioning from a nearly decade-long career in banking, Janell honed her skills from the ground up, moving from Bank Teller to Banker and eventually to Developmental and Training Specialist roles. Her experience equipped her with invaluable qualities like active listening, adept problem-solving, and an unwavering attention to detail. Recognizing the deeply personal nature of financial discussions, Janell respects and values her clients’ privacy and fosters a relationship of trust. She views the opportunity to guide individuals through significant real estate decisions as an immense honor. “Being entrusted to advise someone on one of the most significant investments of their lives, an investment that not only impacts them but also generations to come, is an honor I greatly appreciate and I do not take that responsibility lightly.” TEAM MENTALITY Growing up, Janell thrived in competitive soccer, attributing much of her success and essential life skills to the sport. Beyond teamwork, soccer instilled in her a sense of tenacity, discipline, patience, and respect for others. “Competing in a dedicated and successful team isn’t just about winning games; it’s about the unseen effort behind the scenes. These lessons gave me grit, a commitment to others, and the tenacity to keep going even in the face of adversity.” Her sports-driven mindset translates seamlessly into her work in real estate. Janell’s deep-rooted determination and skills are precisely what make her an invaluable asset to any client’s real estate journey. “I won’t give up. I believe that every situation is an opportunity to learn, pivot, and problem solve. I bring that same mentality to serving my clients.” THE BIG PICTURE When she’s not working to serve her clients in finding their dream home, selling their home, or building an investment portfolio, Janell cherishes time with her family. Her husband, Ruben, an Army Veteran, shares in coaching their kids’ sports teams. “Outside the fields, we’re out and about – exploring the town, attending local concerts, tasting diverse foods at outdoor markets, or biking scenic trails. We’re an active, sociable family always eager to engage and connect with our community.” Janell’s commitment to building relationships extends far beyond real estate, shaping a life devoted to meaningful connections and community engagement. “At the end of the day, I want to be remembered as someone who gives back to the community and who made the lives of others better – that goes for my family, friends, and my clients. It’s a short life we live, and I want to make it meaningful.”

When it comes to Micaela you get it all – supportive, compassionate, and highly analytical and methodical. INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES Micaela doesn’t just talk the talk, she walks the walk. Her and her husband own a successful Short Term Rental property very near the Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas “I love when people come to me and ask questions about investment properties because it gives me an opportunity to help educate them on their options,” explains Micaela. She believes that real estate is a great way to grow wealth and it begins with gathering information about different strategies and opportunities. “It’s never too early to start learning, planning, and setting goals!” BIG DREAMS AND LIFE EXPERIENCE Micaela loves a dreamer, and it’s crystal clear that she is one too. She realized in college, she has an innate ability to see a goal, break it up into steps, and get moving. While at Texas Tech University, she started a non-profit organization called Empower Education International to help expand access to quality education in Africa. A few days after graduating, she packed her bags and moved to a remote village in Northern Uganda. She sponsored children to be in school and worked with school administrators, while partnering with different US Universities to improve the education system. While living in Uganda, Micaela met another Founder sponsoring former child soldiers. They joined forces and Micaela become employee #1 to an ED Tech business that has grown to be one of the largest providers in Africa. She spent 5 years living in Uganda, Tanzania, and South Africa and continued running the team as Chief Product Officer for an additional 5 years remotely. If that weren’t enough for this dreamer, she also started her own consulting business working with founders and entrepreneurs launching tech startups. She has a passion for sharing the knowledge gained by providing valuable strategies and guidance to founders who are at the initial stages of turning their ideas into a product. “This is my same desire for my real estate business- to pass on all the experience and information we have to you so you can be the most informed buyer, seller or investor. FAMILY AND FUN Micaela’s husband, Jason, is from Liberty Hill, TX. “I always thought I would want to move back to Colorado, but it didn’t take long for this area to feel like home. The people and the sense of community are unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. I knew right away that we would make the Austin area our forever home.” While she is serious about real estate and goals, don’t be surprised if you get a glimpse of her fun side, especially when it comes to her children. “I love having fun with my kids. I’m the mom that is jamming out to kids songs as we are driving from one place to another. We’re talking air drums and everything! We love making up silly songs and having dance parties.”

Angelica Zamer

Sr. Transaction Coordinator

737-270-6779
Transactions@tkerrrealestate.com

Angelica Zamer is a master at details and systems, which is why she excels as a T. Kerr Property Group Transaction Partner. Like the Great Oz behind the curtain, she works behind the scenes to manage the countless intricate details involved in real estate transactions to afford clients and agents alike a seamless, stress-free property buying or selling experience. FROM TEACHING TO CODING. Angelica is a lifelong Texan, born in Houston and currently living in beautiful Northwest Austin. She attended the University of Texas in Austin twice in her educational pursuits. First, as an undergrad earning a degree in Education; then again almost a decade later for certification in coding. Her early career began as a teacher in the Round Rock ISD, where she was a dual language teacher for first, second, and fourth graders. As a teacher, Angelica took a very active interest in the processes. Always on the lookout for better ways to achieve educational goals and improve teaching systems, she spent countless hours overhauling curriculum standards, improving implementation processes, and aligning communications. While working on a technology initiative for the district, she was introduced to the world of code – and eventually a career switch. Coding resonated with Angelica, and she moved from teaching to freelance coding projects for clients. Her inner geek awakened, Angelica decided to pursue a full-time career in programming – that is, until a worldwide pandemic interfered. Like many other parents, she found herself homeschooling and navigating the waters of life in a COVID-19 world. SILVER LININGS AND SERENDIPITY Growing up, Angelica’s family-owned properties and houses in Mexico. Today, she and her husband own a few rental properties in Austin. This exposure to the management side of real estate piqued an interest in the industry. So when her long-term friend, Tanya Kerr mentioned that she’d excel at transaction coordinating, the stars aligned. In her role as a Transaction Partner, Angelica can do what comes naturally – analytical thinking, system management, and detail dominance. She applies big picture thinking to the minutia of each transaction to ensure everything is aligning as it should. She delights in flexing her immense problem-solving strengths to improve processes, and she excels at communicating with all parties in a timely and friendly manner. When Angelica isn’t busy immersed in real estate transaction details, she enjoys exploring Austin’s parks and nearby twins like Dripping Springs and Bastrop with her husband, Kamal, two children, César and Camila – or reading a book in a quiet corner. Either way, Angelica is positive and happy – it’s just who she is at her core.
